You have to give it to parents they sure know how to come at you out of left field. Earlier today I get an instant message from my mom. You know the typical 'How are you?', 'We miss you' type of message.
Then out of nowhere she said, Have you hear the song, 'Lollipop' by Lil Wayne? Then she went on to say how that is currently her favorite song and she has been listening to it a lot.
I think it is great to hear my Texan mom breaking out and listening to a larger variety of music. It was the following comment she said that caught me totally off guard. She said, 'I wish I had some N.W.A., do you have any songs that you could send me?'
She wanted it- seriously I had to do the screen grab to prove it - check it out for yourself.
I am very happy that my mom is listening to more music so this post is for you mom. - Straight outta Weatherford!
