It is day two of Iceland Airwaves and Zombie Popcorn and Ragnaarbastiaan have had a full day of music and great conversations. In fact, we had two great conversation today. One was with Milkywhale, which you will hear the interview in this episode. The second was with Tófa, Female fronted art-punk band influenced by 20th century literature.
In this episode, we met up with Milkywhale, at their off-venue show and before they took they stage, Melkorka and Árni shared their time with us.
Milkywhale is best described, as stated on their site, as a brand new music project by choreographer Melkorka Sigríður Magnúsdóttir that dismantles the boundaries between a concert and a performance. Together with musician Árni Rúnar Hlöðversson they have created a series of pop songs, a visual trip through soundscape and choreography.
In addition to the Milkywhale interview, we also talked about areas of Airwaves
