This Non-Religious Life Episode 59: That God-damned Particle

This week we delve into the world of complex and nuanced scientific exploration. First we discuss the Higgs boson’s discovery and implications for our understanding of the world. Then we move into the theological discussion and how the religious are reacting to the new information. One example is of a Pakistani physicist who is being shunned in his home country because of his work on the Higgs boson’s discovery as well as his religious affiliation. Finally we get into the path of science and the moral and philosophical implications.
