This Non-Religious Life Episode 65: Of Apologists and Academics

This week we take a quick foray into dealing with some viewer feedback. For the first segment of the show we deal with a youtube commenter who has been leaving feedback on Episode 15, where we had the gracious Dr. Robert M. Price on the show for the first time. This viewer had some critical views on Dr. Price and seemed to think that he is not as erudite as Dr. William Lane Craig (you can check out a debate between the two here). Our commenter relies on some pretty faulty argumentation and Bob, Jason and I got to play pin the tail on the logical fallacy.

For our second section we deal with a much more supportive and constructive comment from our Facebook. Shannon Carman left us a lengthy comment with questions regarding Episode 64. Though Bob and I both gave our feedback in that thread we thought it was worth rehashing on the show for our viewers who aren’t with us on Facebook. In it we discuss the late redaction of biblical passages concerning the subjection of women in the political realm.

As always we want to know your thoughts! You can always contact us at [email protected], like us on Facebook / Google+ or call the ZPN hotline at (757) 337-2195.
